Meadowlark specializes in individual Somatic Experiencing sessions, our core pathway for resolving chronic stress and trauma-related patterns. Through a gentle and clinically informed approach, we focus on nervous system regulation—thoughtfully weaving supportive movement, breath, and meditation into each session as complementary practices rather than stand-alone services.

Together, we explore modalities like Somatic Experiencing, embodied awareness, meditation, breath, and gentle movement to help you reconnect with your natural state of calm and build your nervous system's ability to engage with resource. In our sessions, your body leads the way—there is no need to revisit or retell the stories of past trauma. Instead, we work gently with the tensions held within, honoring the ways your system has sought to protect you. This process is slow, supportive, and designed to help your nervous system gradually settle into a deep sense of safety. I provide a warm, professional space where you can release stored stress and rediscover your innate resilience, allowing healing to unfold naturally at your own pace.

About me

In my 23 years as a Registered Nurse, I have always been moved by the resilience of the human spirit. However, it was the intensity of working in the COVID ICU that truly reshaped my path, leading me to discover Somatic Experiencing—a body-first approach for unraveling deep-seated tension and trauma held within the system.

As an experienced yoga and meditation teacher, I integrate these practices to create a more comprehensive container for healing. Breath and mindful movement serve as vital anchors for nervous system regulation, helping clients stay grounded while safely processing stored stress. Today, I bridge my medical clinical background with these holistic tools to help you restore your natural state of safety and ease. Together, we work at a pace that honors your body’s wisdom, helping you reclaim your innate resilience and capacity for joy.
